We are looking for a Product Designer!
Full-time, based in Colombia

ILUMA is a venture-backed tech startup based in Silicon Valley. The company was founded by YCombinator alumni and two-time founders, who've been building AI software together for 8+ years. Our team of incredibly-talented people work remotely, and are based in San Francisco and Bogota, Colombia.


ILUMA is the 'Superhuman' for web3, and is transforming the future of web3 communications and intelligence. Using powerful AI, ILUMA breaks down information overload on Discord servers & across other web3 community tools (Twitter, Notion, Snapshot, Gnosis, etc.), providing decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) & web3 community members with the most important and relevant insights and information right at their fingertips. 

We’re looking to welcome an ambitious, highly-motivated Product Designer to be a core member of our Product team. This opportunity will allow you to learn how to build and execute a world-class product strategy from the ground up. This role will work closely with our CTO & Head of Product to help translate ILUMA's vision of our product into a beautiful, seamless user experience as you spearhead the development and optimization of our user interface.

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Lead the end-to-end user experience of ILUMA: capturing user feedback, ideating, prototyping, user testing, and final production

  • Speak with our users to understand their pain points, in order to identify product design improvement opportunities and strategies

  • Strategize with the leadership team on how best to carry out the vision of our product, and then design the mock-ups, prototypes, and design elements needed to execute on the next-up product requirements

  • Work closely with the engineering team to implement new design features, capturing the technical effort required to better prioritize our roadmap


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1+ year work experience in product design

  • Fluency in English

  • Incredibly proactive and assertive - a true self-starter!

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize tasks
